BOMCA held a seminar in Turkmenistan for employees of operational investigative activities


The Border Management Assistance Program in Central Asia (BOMCA 10), which is funded by the European Union, held a seminar in Turkmenistan for operational investigative officers, the official website of the Program reports.
The purpose of the event is to increase the potential of employees specializing in conducting investigations of offenses.
At the seminar, experts from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Lithuanian State Border Protection Service introduced the participants to the principles of organizing activities based on the use of operational search data, law enforcement response measures.
During the national seminar, models for collecting operational and investigative information and data sharing in this area were also discussed.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of National Security, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the State Border Service and the State Migration Service of the country.
