Turkmenistan and Japan discussed cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere


Issues of further expansion of bilateral cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere were discussed during the meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan Atageldy Bayramov with the President of the Japanese Association of Min-on Music Kazuto Ito. Noting that the cultural and humanitarian direction is an integral part of the Turkmen-Japanese relations, the parties stressed the relevance of collaboration in the field of music and art.
Founded in 1963, the Min-on Music Concert Association promotes the global exchange of musical culture in order to develop mutual understanding and respect between different peoples.
Since the foundation of the association, thousands of musicians and artists from more than a hundred countries have been invited to the Land of the Rising Sun, and hundreds of Japanese artists have performed abroad. Today, the association sponsors about 600 performances a year around the world.
