Turkmenistan national hockey team to play with Kazan's Ak Bars in Ashgabat
The Turkmenistan national ice hockey team will hold a friendly match with Ak Bars in Ashgabat.
According to ORIENT in the Hockey Federation of Turkmenistan, the match will take place on April 7 in Ashgabat at the ice arena of the Winter Sports Complex. The meeting starts at 16:00. Tickets for the game can be purchased at the ticket offices of the sports complex.
Representatives of the Kazan club arrived in Ashgabat to help the Turkmen national team prepare for the World Cup (third division), where they will face the teams of Luxembourg, Thailand, Taiwan and the host of the tournament — South Africa.
The Turkmenistan national team will play the first game on April 17 with the hosts of the championship — the South African team. On April 18, the hockey squad will play a match against Luxembourg, on April 20, Bayram Allayarov's wards will meet with Thailand and finish the tournament on April 23 with a duel with Taiwan.
At the last World Championship in Group A of the third division, the Turkmenistan national ice hockey team took third place.
