Kazakhstan has ratified the agreement on the operating mode of the Turkmen-Kazakh state border


The Parliament of Kazakhstan has ratified an agreement with Turkmenistan on the operating mode of the Turkmen-Kazakh state border, the official website of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan reports.
Presenting the relevant draft law to the Majilismen, Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Aldazhumanov noted that the agreement is aimed at mutual establishment of the legal basis and regulation of relations between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan on the state border.
The regime includes the procedure for crossing and passing the state border by individuals, vehicles, moving goods and other property through it. It also covers the conduct of economic, fishing, research, survey or other activities at the border, as well as the organization of various events.
