Volleyball players from Turkmenistan are the winners of the prestigious tournament in Tatarstan
The volleyball team of Turkmen students "Magtymguly Pyragy" of the Yelabuga Institute of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University has won at the republican level of the championship of the Association of Student Sports Clubs (ACCC).
In the final game, the Turkmen volleyball players took over the national team of the Sports Academy with a score of 2:1.
Now "Magtymguly Pyragy" will perform at the All-Russian stage of the championship, which will be held from April 16 to April 20 in Saransk. They will represent the student club of the Republic of Tatarstan.
A total of 12 student teams participated in the tournament.
Earlier, Magtymguly Pyragy, consisting of Iskender Nazarov (team captain), Shatlyk Khodzhayev, Halmyrat Gulbayev, Omar Amangeldiyev, Atajan Shayymov, Aganazar Taganov, Durdymyrat Agamyradov and Khemra Isaev, became the winners of the Student Sports League of Tatarstan 2022.
In turn, the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Kazan) provides comprehensive support to Turkmen students, providing them with the necessary sports equipment.
