Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the head of the Turkish Union of Chambers discussed business cooperation
Practical steps to increase Turkmen-Turkish cooperation have become the main subject of negotiations between Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and head of the Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey Rifat Hisarciklioglu, TDH reports.
Among the priority areas of cooperation is the implementation of projects in the fuel and energy, transport and communication, agricultural, food and textile sectors of the economy. The fields of ecology and high technology were also listed.
In this context, the Arkadag city project was touched upon, which, as the head of the Halk Maslahaty noted, will increase production capacity with an emphasis on ecology.
The Turkmen side expressed interest in laying a water supply system and purchasing the necessary products for the implementation of environmental protection plans. The representative of Turkey noted the compliance of Turkish-made pipes with environmental standards.
The prospect of creating a unified emergency service in the new city was also announced, the exchange of experience between the countries will contribute to the formation of which. In order to enhance cooperation on a broader scale, the possibilities of expanding the dialogue between the business structures of the two countries were considered.
The interlocutors also touched upon issues of humanitarian cooperation, in particular, they talked about cooperation in the field of education and interuniversity relations.
Following the talks, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov declared his support for Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the upcoming presidential elections and the recent speech of his wife Emine Erdogan at the UN session on waste-free production.
Rifat Hisarciklioglu thanked the Turkmen side for creating the conditions necessary for the work of Turkish companies.
