Specialists of Turkmen departments study global trends in the digital economy
Representatives of various ministries and departments, the Mejlis, the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Turkmenistan, as well as employees of the Ashgabat City Hall are taking part in the five-day seminar "Global Trends in the digital Economy".
The hybrid seminar is part of the implementation of the project "Increasing the potential of the Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan" with the participation of UNDP.
Its purpose is to contribute to building the capacity of civil servants in the field of introducing the latest digital solutions to improve the efficiency of public administration.
The course is conducted by an international consultant in the field of information and communication technologies Andrey Leonovich. He will talk about the impact of digitalization of the economy on other sectors of the country, share trends and best international practices in the field of digital transformation.
Participants will also consider issues of ensuring cybersecurity in the digitalization of the economy, master the principles of working with unified databases.
"It is expected that this event will give an impetus to the overall development of Turkmenistan's digital transformation, based on examples of the world's best practices and trends in the field of digitalization," said Rovshen Nurmuhamedov, Head of the UNDP Program Department in Turkmenistan.
