Organizers of the Olympic Games in Paris invite volunteers
The Organizing Committee of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris invites the French, as well as foreigners, to become volunteers at the competitions.
The volunteer program is open to people over the age of 18 who are fluent in French or English. According to the organizers, about 45 thousand people are needed for the event, which will be distributed across all official venues in Paris, Marseille, Lille, Nice, Lyon, Saint-Etienne, Nantes, Bordeaux, Châteauroux and Tahiti.
The duties of the volunteers will include meeting and accompanying fans and accredited persons; assistance to sports delegations; accompanying athletes to the venues of competitions and press conferences; assistance in the delivery of equipment; participation in medical support, etc.
In order to provide each volunteer with a role appropriate to their skills, everyone will be asked to fill out an online questionnaire as part of the application process.
"Joining Paris 2024 is an opportunity for volunteers. But volunteers are also an opportunity for Paris 2024, as they bring their enthusiasm, energy and skills," commented Tony Estange, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the 2024 Olympics.
Process of applications submission will last until May 3.
