From a dream to its fulfilment

Over the last years, Turkmen athletes, who have significantly improved their skills, make themselves known on the international arena not only with the medals of world and continental tournaments but also with the high awards of national championships of foreign states.
Our compatriot – Ruslan Mingazov joined Czech First League team, Slavia Prague and became the champion of the XXIV Czech Republic Football Championship.
2015 Turkmenistan best footballer, Ruslan Mingazow started playing football at the age of six, being taken to the first training by his father - a former footballer, who played for FK Kopetdag and the national team of Turkmenistan.
Mingazow played for FC Aşgabat youth team. He helped his club win the Turkmenistan Super Cup. A year later, Mingazow became the champion of Turkmenistan.
Mingazov was invited to join the tournament's finalists, Latvian Higher League club Skonto Rīga. Mingazow helped Skonto become the champions of Latvia and won the Latvian Cup. Later, Mingazow joined the Czech First League club Baumit Jablonec. The Turkmen footballer became the bronze winner of the championship and helped his club reach the final of the Czech Cup.
Four years ago, FC Tottenham (London) invited Ruslan for trials. The fact that an oldest and famous team in the history of the world football takes an interest in the Turkmen footballer, speaks volumes.
The latest (as of today) achievement of the defending midfielder of the national team of Turkmenistan Ruslan Mingazov – the title of the champion of the 2016–17 Czech Cup.
… Ruslan Mingazov is not the only athlete, who glorifies Turkmen sports. There will be new heroes.
Those, who since early childhood dream to defend the sports honour of their Fatherland.
What counts most is to stand for achieving the dream.
