The official ceremony of meeting of the President of Turkmenistan with the Emir of Qatar was held in Doha

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha as part of the state visit to the country, TDH reports.

After the official ceremony of the meeting, negotiations between the heads of the two states began in an expanded format with the participation of delegations.

During the negotiations, the parties will discuss:

– strengthening the contractual and legal framework of the partnership,
– expansion of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation,
– development of inter-parliamentary relations,
– improving cooperation between foreign ministries.

Following the talks, a package of bilateral documents is expected to be signed.
