Young Turkmen hockey players won silver medals at the Asian and Oceania Championships

The junior national ice hockey team of Turkmenistan won silver medals at the Asian and Oceania Championship that ended in Ulan Bator (Mongolia).
In five matches of the tournament, Guvanchmurad Jepbarov's team won four games, scoring 12 points.
Having lost only in the opening game of the championship to the national team of Uzbekistan, the Turkmen hockey team defeated the UAE team with a score of 7: 2, defeated Thailand-4: 3, Mongolia-6: 4 and defeated Iran-14: 1.
At the end of the tournament, the national team of Uzbekistan took first place, with 15 points in its asset.
