Declaration of the Group of Friends of Neutrality adopted as a document of the UN session
The good news came to our country from the United Nations Headquarters. The final Declaration of the high-level meeting of the Group of Friends of Neutrality for Peace, Security and Sustainable Development, held in Ashgabat on December 10, 2022, was published on March 1, 2023 as a document of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.
The development of a strategic, covering a wide range of areas of cooperation with the United Nations is one of the priority vectors of the foreign policy of neutral Turkmenistan implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Our country invariably takes an active and dynamic position in issues of interaction with the UN and its specialized structures.
The adoption of the Final Declaration of the high-level meeting of the Group of Friends of Neutrality as a document of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly eloquently testifies to the full support of the Community of Nations for the peaceful foreign policy and creative initiatives of Turkmenistan, the ever- increasing authority of the Homeland in the international arena.
