Dagestan will host the first digital forum of the Caspian states
In October, Dagestan will host the first digital forum of the Caspian states, TASS reports with reference to the Minister of Digital Development of the Russian region Yuri Gamzatov.
The corresponding agreement was reached as a result of a meeting between the acting Head of Dagestan Sergey Melikov and the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of Russia Maksut Shadaev.
The event will provide the Caspian Five with a platform for discussing topical issues of ensuring information security in the region. According to the Minister, it is also planned to consider the prospects of the North—South transport corridor on the sidelines of the forum.
"Our task is to unite all our neighbors — partners in the Caspian Sea on one platform," Gamzatov stressed.
