The first phase of ticket sales for the Summer Olympic Games in Paris 2024 showed unprecedented success. Over 3 million tickets were sold in three weeks.

"This is the largest ticket sale for a sporting event in France. And this was achieved in just three weeks," commented Tony Estange, head of the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

As part of the second stage, registration for which will begin on March 15, 10 million single tickets will be sold for all sports sessions, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympics. The sale through the official platform will last until April 20.

It should be noted that the top three countries from which the largest number of purchases were made included France, the United Kingdom and the United States. Fans bought the most tickets for football matches.
