BOMCA handed over methodological manuals to the Training Center of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan

The Border Management Assistance Program in Central Asia (BOMCA) has provided training manuals for the preparation and conduct of training courses to the Training Center of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan. This is reported on the website of the SCST.
The manuals are intended for use in the teaching activities of educational institutions of the border services of the States participating in the BOMCA program.
Speaking at the award ceremony, the director of the Training Center noted that the new manuals will become indispensable assistants for the mentors of the Center. He also added that the Center is working to improve curricula and replenish the library fund with new materials.
The methodological manual was developed by a team of experts of the State Border Guard of Latvia based on the educational programs of Frontex (the Agency of the European Union for the Security of External Borders). It was the result of a regional seminar on the development of training methods for instructors and trainers, which took place in March last year in Tashkent.
