The XII Spartakiad among law enforcement officers, organized with the support of the Democratic Party, the National Center of Trade Unions and the Magtymguly Youth Organization, has started in Turkmenistan.

The main goal of the competition is the development of sports skills among law enforcement officers and military personnel, improving their physical and moral training, the website of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan reports.

The sports Contest will last two weeks in various disciplines, including athletics, football, table and lawn tennis, national wrestling, chess, sambo and other sports.

The winners of national and international championships, winners of the Asian Games-2017, the World Nomad Games, the World Belt Wrestling Championship take part in the competitions.
