The President of Turkmenistan has arrived in Azerbaijan on a visit


President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azertag news agency reports. During the visit, the Head of state will take part in the Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in the format of the Contact Group on Combating COVID-19.
In the air harbor of Baku, the head of the Turkmen state was met by a company of the guard of honor, as well as officials of the republic, including the first deputy head of the Azerbaijani government Yagub Eyubov, Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and others.
The last time Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev was last December during the Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Turkey trilateral summit, which was held in Turkmenbashi.
