Russian company engaged in construction of highest building in Central Asia
The Russian company “Mechel Materials LLC” participates in the construction of the highest skyscraper in Central Asia. “Mechel Materials LLC”, leader in production of wide spectrum building materials, has supplied 2.6 thousand tons of active mineral additive for the manufacture of concrete mixtures used in the construction of the multifunctional complex "Abu Dhabi Plaza" in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana. The mineral additive improves the properties of concrete, increasing its strength, resistance to corrosion, temperature drop and high humidity. The “Abu Dhabi Plaza” will include four towers of various height with a total area of more than 510 thousand square meters. The peak of the main skyscraper will reach 382 meters or equivalent to 75-storeyed building. The complex will accommodate offices, retail outlets, apartments of medium and high class, hotels, SPA salons. “Sheraton Hotels and Resorts” acts as the operator of the hotels and apartments of Abu Dhabi Plaza.
