Prospects for development of economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Australia discussed
Turkmen-Australian economic cooperation and elaboration of international legal documents for its development were discussed on Thursday by the Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Serdar Jorayev and the Australian Ambassador to Turkmenistan (with residence in Moscow) Graeme Meehan Leslie.
The interlocutors stressed that there is potential for developing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of finance, energy, science, tourism, education, fishing and processing industry.
Similar economic interests and even climatic conditions can contribute to the successful development of cooperation between the two countries, it was noted during the meeting.
The sides also stressed the potential for developing investment and business cooperation through the preparation and signing of relevant bilateral agreements.
