Spring Festival is a gift for Turkmen women for the March 8 holiday
March 8 is the International Women's Day and the time when the beautiful half of humanity accepts gifts and wishes in their address. Such a spring souvenir for Turkmen women will be the Ladies Festival, which will be held on March 6 in the capital's Central Park, better known among the citizens as the "five-legged". Ramilya Ramazanova, director of the Turkmen PR company AkEnMar, the organizer of the event, told Orient about what awaits guests at this cultural venue:
— Ladies Festival is a joint project of AkEnMar and Turkmen schoolchildren-volunteers. Young people are the authors of a festive program that will give everyone bright emotions. High school students are very creative and energetic, ready to try themselves in a new role and new images.
From the very threshold, guests will have the opportunity to plunge into the festive atmosphere of the holiday: an exhibition of works by needlewomen and masters of applied art will unfold in the hall. The exhibition will feature the most beautiful handmade products, masterfully made by the hands of talented women.
There will also be musical congratulations at the festival. For example, classical music lovers will be able to enjoy the performance of a youth quartet organized by students of the Maya Gulyyeva Turkmen National Conservatory. And popular pop singers will perform for fans of modern songs, Ramilya Ramazanova noted.
The ceremony of awarding the winners of the "Woman of the Year" contest will also take place at the festival. This title was awarded to 25 women working in different fields, different ages and different nationalities. The organizers have prepared presentation videos about each of these nominees, which will be shown at the event. All these businesswomen are united by the fact that they have made a great contribution to the development of economic, trade, cultural, humanitarian fields and play an important role in the life of the Turkmen public.. They will receive diplomas and memorable gifts.
Ladies Festival will be held on March 6 in Ashgabat in Central Park (pyatinozhka). The event starts at 16:00. Admission is by invitation cards.
