The Turkmen-Iranian Business Forum in Ashgabat will be a new step in the development of business ties

The Expocenter of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan hosts an exhibition of goods produced in the Islamic Republic of Iran. About 100 companies of various profiles brought their products to Ashgabat, from manufacturers of cars and high-tech equipment to household goods.

On February 16, a bilateral business forum will be held in Ashgabat, which will be a continuation of the economic review and, as its participants expect, another new important step towards strengthening Turkmen-Iranian trade and economic cooperation

On the sidelines of the exhibition, representatives of the business circles of Turkmenistan and Iran will also hold meetings and consultations to establish and deepen partnership. The agreements and contracts that the parties will sign following the negotiations will help strengthen the long-standing fruitful ties between the two countries.
Iranian businessmen who have arrived in Ashgabat are interested in developing cooperation in chemical, processing, agricultural and other industries, as well as in the service sector, including in the field of oil and gas project management.

The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) announced this week the implementation of plans to increase gas production in the country by 50% by 2029 - from $1 billion. cubic meters up to 1.5 billion. cubic meters per day. Turkmenistan and Iran are already implementing a swap deal on natural gas supplies, and new energy agreements are on the horizon.

There are also 880 active industrial parks in Iran, and the technology sector is one of the most relevant areas for cooperation.
