The state will offer vacancies to unemployed Kazakhstanis by SMS

Since the beginning of March, a new way of obtaining public services will be introduced in Kazakhstan, the analytical portal "Eurasia.Expert" reports with reference to the Vice-Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the country Olzhas Ordabayev.
Thus, as part of the pilot project, unemployed citizens of Kazakhstan aged 23 to 35 years will receive SMS messages with proposals of state measures to promote employment.
Messages will be received by a thousand people from each age category.
"This is a trial launch of the mailing list to get feedback from the population," Ordabayev said, stressing that the list of recipients was formed from 8 categories of social groups.
An SMS newsletter will come from the number 1414, which transfers a person to the portal of the electronic labor exchange. On the website, he will be able to get a job search service, training, receive a grant, as well as advice on employment contracts.
The representative of the Ministry of Labor also said that sending SMS notifications is the first stage of expanding the proactive format of public services.
"Now, thanks to various state databases, information systems, the state sees that a person has had this or that life situation, and no longer waits for the arrival of a citizen, but proactively contacts him and informs him that you have the right to receive certain payments, this or that measure of support," — he explained, adding that more than 14 thousand people have already received assistance in this format.
