Russia will create pre-immigration training centers in some Central Asian countries
Russia will create pre-immigration training centers in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan for citizens wishing to leave for the Russian Federation. This was stated by the director of the CIS Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Sternik in an interview with RIA Novosti.
These measures will be taken within the framework of an intergovernmental agreement with these countries, which will be signed in 2023.
"In accordance with our legislation, they (centers - ed.) will provide those wishing to travel to Russia with a whole range of services (fingerprinting, photographing, registration). Consultations on organized recruitment for Russian employers, the issuance of necessary medical certificates are provided," Sternik said.
In the second quarter of 2022, more than 3 million labor migrants entered Russia, most of them from Central Asia and Transcaucasia.
