A Christmas fair was held in Mary - the relationship of generations

Orthodox Christmas in Mary was celebrated with traditional services in the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos and a Christmas fair.
― Christmas is one of the main holidays of the Orthodox Church, celebrated in Turkmenistan as well, where the Orthodox celebrate the day when in the small town of Bethlehem the Divine Infant, Jesus Christ, was born into the world, Priest Dmitry Kireev says in an interview with an ORIENT correspondent.

On the morning of January 7, a Christmas fair was held near the Church of the Most Holy Theotokos, which brought together a large number of people, adult children. The fair presented arts and crafts, handmade accessories, jewelry and paintings, as well as Christmas treats: pies, gingerbread and other sweet pastries, which could be tasted right there.
“The main goal of holding such fairs is to unite people, especially the youngest ones, who can feel closeness with God on this holiday,” Father Dmitry continues. - You can see at our fair how many children have prepared their gifts for the holiday. This is a real exchange of opinions, the relationship of generations.

― On such a bright holiday, I would like to wish everyone peace, goodness, joy, solidarity, prosperity and a peaceful sky, - Priest Dmitry Kireev said.
During the Christmas fair there were also concert performances and performances by animators.
