Turkmen musicians touring with TURKSOY orchestra in the Balkans
TURKSOY Orchestra - a youth project that brought together musicians from Turkic countries, including Turkmenistan, began a tour of the Balkan Peninsula. The concert voyage was opened in the capital of Macedonia. The repertoire includes not only classical musical works, but also compositions of contemporary composers - representatives of Turkic-speaking peoples, which allows the orchestra to popularize their contribution to the development of a culture of peace. In particular, in Macedonian Skopje "Fantasy" of the Turkmen composer Rovshan Nepesov was played. The performance of TURKSOY orchestra is also included in the program of the main musical event of the year in Macedonia - a festival that annually gathers the music elite and world celebrities in the city of Ohrid. After that, the orchestra will travel to Montenegro, then to Bosnia and Herzegovina, then to Serbia.
