Turkmenistan and Slovenia discussed the organization of bilateral visits at the highest level
The issues of organizing bilateral visits at the highest level were discussed during the meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Slovenia (with residence in Moscow) Batyr Niyazliev with representatives of the Slovenian Foreign Ministry in Ljubljana. This is reported by the website of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation.
During his trip to Slovenia, the Ambassador held a protocol meeting with Foreign Minister Tanya Fayon, as well as talks with the heads of the Department of Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia and the Department of Economic Cooperation of the Ministry.
Expressing interest in intensifying Turkmen-Slovenian cooperation, the sides noted the importance of holding political consultations at the level of the heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries, as well as expanding the legal framework.
The diplomats also touched upon the preparation for the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Slovenian Commission on Economic Cooperation to be held in March 2023 in Ljubljana and the organization of meetings of members of the Turkmen delegation with representatives of ministries and departments of Slovenia within its framework.
