One of the largest natural gas storage facilities in Europe in Redena, Germany, caught fire, due to which its work was stopped until the evening of February 2. The accident was reported by the operator of the Astoria gas storage facility.
The causes of the accident are still unknown. A representative of the energy facility clarified that no one was injured as a result of the incident.
He also stressed that the fire will not affect gas supplies and does not have a negative impact on the environment.
