The OSCE Center in Ashgabat is looking for a national procurement officer
Under the leadership of the Head of the Center's Fund Management, the Procurement Officer ensures effective and timely procurement of goods and services for the off-budget project "Strengthening the capacity of the border service in Turkmenistan" and other various services and goods, taking into account local economic conditions.
The one also reviews purchase requests, develops innovative solutions to solve complex issues related to proposals, prepares/oversees the preparation and distribution of invitations to participate in tenders, regularly conducts market research and analyzes statistical data.
Qualification requirements and evaluation criteria: the procurement specialist must have a higher education in general management, training in procurement, asset management and at least 2 years of experience in the field of procurement.
The candidate must also have computer literacy, excellent written and oral knowledge of English and local languages.
