School canteens in Belarus will begin to supply modern, safe and most suitable food for students. The culinary project was launched in pilot mode in 21 schools of the country, BelTA informs.

Belarusian scientists are working on a new menu - their goal is to make food for children tasty and harmless. In the diet, viscous cereals were replaced with crumbly ones, steamed vegetables, hot dogs, chicken drumsticks were added. An experiment to improve school meals, launched by the Ministry of Education, will end in the spring. Then they will decide on a new diet.

Children in schools taste culinary novelties - favorite children's snacks: corn sticks and bars with a reduced amount of salt and sugar, multi-grain cookies with calcium. Such products can become a substitute for the usual sweets in the school buffet.

The developers are also improving the technology of cooking french fries so that it has a reduced oil content and this does not contradict nutritional standards. The recipe for glazed curds is also being finalized, which can also be included in the school diet.
