The number of Internet banking users in Turkmenistan has approached 1 million
The total number of Internet banking users in Turkmenistan reached 932.7 thousand as of January 1, 2023. This is evidenced by the data published on the website of the Central Bank of the country.
It is noteworthy that Ashgabat is not the leader in the number of registered Internet banking users. Most of them are in the Mary region – 215.03 thousand . In second place is the Lebap region with 210.3 thousand users. The capital closes the top three with the result of 190.02 thousand users.
Dayhanbank has the most Internet banking users - 346.7 thousand. The second in the rating is the "Turkmenistan" bank (294.4 thousand), and the "Turkmenbashi" bank closes the top three (166.1 thousand).
