The IOM Regional Coordinator discussed the prospects of the organization's cooperation with Turkmenistan


The Regional Coordinator of the International Organization for Migration for Central Asia, Zeynal Hajiyev, expressed interest in expanding partnership with Turkmenistan. He stated this during a meeting with the head of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan Nazar Chagatayev, the agency's website reports.
The Regional Representative highly appreciated the implementation of migration legislation in the country and the implementation of international standards on migration management.
He also stressed the possibility of cooperation with Turkmenistan in the field of international migration, including within the framework of the Global Dialogue on Migration. It is an advisory body where all countries of the world have the opportunity to discuss all problems related to international migration and exchange the best ideas and practical experience in this area.
