Tatarstan President approves Republican Organizing Committee of the Russia–Islamic World Forum
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov signed a decree that established the republican organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the annual International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum". The document is published on the portal of legal information of the republic.
Rustam Minnikhanov himself was appointed Chairman of the committee, Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov became his deputies. The secretary of the committee is the head of the Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina.
According to the relevant regulations, the meetings of the organizing committee will be held as necessary at least once a quarter.
The annual International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum" was учрежден January 17 by decree of the President of Russia to promote the development of international cooperation.
The first forum will be held on May 18-19, 2023.
