Telephone conversation between the President of Turkmenistan and the President of the Russian Federation


A telephone conservation was held between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The interlocutors exchanged cordial greetings and confirmed the commitment of the two countries to traditional friendship, good neighborliness and mutually beneficial cooperation.
In this regard, it was noted with satisfaction that the strategic multifaceted cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation is developing rapidly in all areas. Effective cooperation was established in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. It was emphasized that effective intergovernmental relations are implemented through the implementation of agreements reached at a high level.
During the telephone conversation, the interlocutors paid special attention to the visit of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, to Turkmenistan, which is planned for January 19-20 of this year. During this visit, it is planned to hold high-level talks, sign a number of documents, hold a large business forum and numerous bilateral meetings.
At the end of the telephone conversation, Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President Vladimir Putin confirmed once again that the two countries are striving to further intensify comprehensive cooperation and expressed their best wishes to each other and to the people of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation.
