The Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan announced the start of the admission campaign of students to military schools
Specialized military schools of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan have announced the start of the admission campaign for 2023-2024.
Students of the schools will be able to become citizens who have reached the age of 14-15, who have graduated from the 8th grade of secondary school. The training is 4 years. These special schools are working on in-depth study of the basics of military training, improvement of physical and spiritual education.
Applicants of military schools must submit an application to the military commissariat with a list of the following documents:
- Written confirmation of the applicant's parents' consent to become a student of a military school (if the parents do not live in Turkmenistan, the corresponding document is issued by the State Migration Service);
- Parents' passports;
- Questionnaire and autobiography;
- Birth certificate;
- Certificate of progress in secondary school (grades for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarters);
- 6 photos 3x4, 4 photos 4x6, 2 photos 9x12;
- Characteristics issued by the secondary school;
- Personal file confirmed by the school director;
- Medical card, health certificate from the place of residence;
- Preventive vaccination card;
- Certificate of residence and information about marital status;
- Certificate of death of one of the parents (if any).
The main condition for passing is a test in all subjects according to the school curriculum up to grade 8, as well as dictation in the Turkmen language. Applicants who have successfully passed the test will be provided with a place in a dormitory, a military school uniform, four meals a day and the necessary leisure facilities.
