Acceptance of applications to the Academy of Preventive Diplomacy has started
The Academy of Preventive Diplomacy of the Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asian Countries (RCPDCA) in Ashgabat has started accepting applications for a new group of students, the official website of the organization reports.
This is a unique opportunity for initiative youth from Central Asia and Afghanistan to acquire leadership skills and effective communications, as well as expand knowledge in the field of preventive diplomacy, conflict prevention, intercultural communication, information security.
Citizens of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan between the ages of 18 and 29 who are planning to enroll or are already studying at universities in the specialties of political science, international relations, international economic relations, law, sociology can apply for training.
Interested persons need to fill out the application form , write and upload a motivation letter in Russian or English (up to 300 words) answering the questions:
– What is your interest in the Academy of Preventive Diplomacy?
– What motivates you?
– How can you be useful for the interregional network of the Academy?
Candidates also need to make a short video about themselves "Why am I ready to study at the Academy of Preventive Diplomacy" (30-60 sec).
Applications are accepted until January 31, 2023.
Those who have successfully passed the first stage of the competition will be invited to an online interview. The winners of the contest will receive an email notification.
Most of the classes at the Academy will be held in an online format.
After completing the training, the participants will join the ranks of the existing interregional network of graduates of the Academy of Preventive Diplomacy of the Regional Center. They will also have the opportunity to participate in events organized by the RCPDCA and other units in the UN system.
