The 13th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) is being held from 8 to 10 January 2023 in Antalya.

Parliamentary delegations from 27 countries of the world, including Turkmenistan, take part in the event on the theme “Promoting multilateralism in a changing international dynamic”.

The discussions opened with speeches by APA Secretary General Mohammed Reza Majidi and Turkish Speaker Mustafa Shentop.

In addition to the plenary session, meetings of the APA standing committees will be held, draft decisions will be considered, and a declaration will be adopted at the end, according to the website of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

The Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) was established in 2006 at the seventh session of the Association of Asian Parliaments for Peace (APAP) held in Tehran, Iran.
