The Institute of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan announced the start of the admission campaign for the 2023-2024 academic year
The S. Turkmenbashi Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan announces the start of the admission campaign for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Citizens under 24 years of age, with secondary education, who have served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan or graduates of specialized military schools of the Ministry of Defense who have not reached the age of 25 will be able to become students of a military university. The training period is 5 years.
Applicants must submit an application to the Military Commissariat addressed to the Military Commissar by May 1, 2023, as well as submit the following documents:
- Written confirmation of the applicant's parents of their consent to become a serviceman (if the parents do not live in Turkmenistan, the corresponding document is issued by the State Migration Service);
- Passport of a citizen of Turkmenistan (in the absence of a document, a special certificate is issued at the passport office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs);
- International passport;
- A questionnaire and autobiography confirmed by the military commissariat, as well as a map of the chosen specialty;
- Military ticket;
- Child's birth certificate, marriage certificate or marriage dissolution certificate (if any);
- Medical book and health certificate from the place of residence;
- Characteristics from the last place of work/study;
- Information about marital status;
- Certificate from the parents' places of work (if one of the parents is not employed, his corresponding application is required at the main military commissariat of the city, etrap, city with etrap rights);
- Work record (if any);
- Diplomas of education (certificate);
- Certificate of no criminal record of close relatives who have reached the age of 16 (issued at the Information Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs);
- Referral for exams from the military commissariat;
- 1 photo 9x12, 4 photos 4x6, 10 photos 3x4;
- Death certificate of next of kin, certificate of dissolution of marriage between parents (if any);
All submitted documents must be submitted with copies.
Entrance exams are held in the subjects "mathematics", "physics" and "history of Turkmenistan" in the state language.
Applicants who have successfully passed the exams will be provided with a place in the dormitory, the military uniform of the institute, the necessary funds and timely payment of scholarships.
