World Hindi Day was celebrated in Turkmenistan
The Embassy of India in Turkmenistan organized the celebration of World Hindi Day 2023 in Ashgabat, the diplomatic mission reported on its Instagram account.
On the occasion of this date, various events were organized at the D.Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. Students studying Hindi read poems in the language of this country, performed Bollywood dances. They also demonstrated their knowledge of the language in a quiz.
An exhibition of books in Hindi and national costumes was launched for the guests of the festive event.
Ambassador of the Republic of India to Turkmenistan Vidhu Pithambaran Nair noted that Turkmen students speak Hindi well and highly appreciated the training of their teachers.
