Beijing International Airport welcomes the first visitors after the cancellation of restrictions on entry to the country in connection with COVID-19, reports China daily.

It is reported that in the near future the airport of the capital will accept several more flights from abroad, as the number of bookings on some online services on the eve of the celebration of the Chinese New Year has increased markedly. According to experts, more than two billion trips will be made.

12 additional immigration lanes were installed at the airport. Separate lanes are provided for the elderly, children, and people with disabilities.
