A "tourist card" for non-cash payments of foreigners will appear in Russia


To increase the volume of inbound tourism in Russia, a "Tourist Card" will be created for non-cash payments of foreign citizens. This was stated by the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov at a meeting with representatives of the tourism industry, the official website of the CIS reports.
The head of the department also spoke about the restart of the electronic visa system for foreigners.
Earlier, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country, Yevgeny Ivanov, announced the readiness of the unified electronic visa system for foreigners. The issuance of such a visa does not require an invitation, a hotel reservation or other documents confirming the purpose of the trip. The visa will be valid for 60 days from the date of receipt, and it will be possible to stay in Russia for no more than 16 days.
