The Turkmen-German Medical Forum will be held in Ashgabat in January


The prospects of cooperation between Turkmen and German doctors will be discussed at the X Turkmen-German Medical Forum, which will be held on January 26-27 via teleconference at the International Scientific and Educational Center of Ashgabat. This was announced at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday by Deputy Prime Minister in charge of health issues in the government, Nurmuhammet Amannepesov.
This format of interaction makes it possible to deepen the successfully developing partnership between Turkmen and German colleagues in the field of healthcare, develop joint projects for the modernization of Turkmen medicine, implement programs for the introduction of advanced technologies and equipment, as well as the training of scientific personnel and highly qualified specialists," the meeting said.
In recent years, several dozen Turkmen doctors have been trained and trained in German medical centers. Today, the parties have intensified academic communication and, in particular, intend to continue cooperation in direct medical practice on the ground," the Deputy Prime Minister said.
The January forum through the digital network will also be attended by the teaching staff of the Turkmen State Medical University named after Myrat Garryev and specialists of regional healthcare institutions.
The Turkmen-German Forum has been held regularly since 2011 within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the Federal Ministry of Health of Germany. The agenda of the meeting is formed taking into account the actual tasks of this area, and the decisions taken at such meetings are given concrete embodiment in various fields of medicine.
