Turkmenistan and China signed 16 bilateral documents

A total of 16 documents were signed following the results of the Turkmen-Chinese negotiations at the highest level, the state information agency TDH reports.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping signed a joint statement.

Documents were signed between various institutions of the two countries designed to expand and strengthen Turkmen-Chinese cooperation in the oil and gas and transport sectors, medicine, economics, etc.

Documents signed between the institutions of Turkmenistan and China:

— Memorandum of Understanding between the State Concern "Turkmengaz" and the Chinese National Oil and Gas Corporation on cooperation in the gas sector,

— Memorandum of Understanding between the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas (Turkmenistan) and the China National Oil and Gas Corporation (People's Republic of China),

— Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the People's Republic of China on the interfacing of the international initiatives "Revival of the Great Silk Road" and "One Belt and One Road",

— Health Action Plan between the Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the State Health Commission of the People's Republic of China for the period 2023-2027,

— Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China for 2023-2024,

— Protocol on amendments to the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the People's Republic of China on the establishment of the Turkmen—Chinese Cooperation Committee dated August 29, 2008,

— Memorandum of Understanding on promoting investment cooperation in the field of digital economy between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the People's Republic of China,

— Memorandum of Understanding on promoting investment cooperation in the field of green development between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the People's Republic of China,

— Plan of cooperation in the field of culture between the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China for 2023-2026,

— Agreement on news exchange and cooperation between the State News Agency of Turkmenistan and the Xinhua News Agency of the People's Republic of China,

— Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the State News Agency of Turkmenistan and the newspaper "People's Daily" (People's Republic of China),

— Memorandum on information and news cooperation between the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography and the Media Corporation of China,

— Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan and the Chinese Olympic Committee,

— Memorandum of Understanding between the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports and the Main State Administration for Physical Culture and Sports of the People's Republic of China on cooperation in the field of sports,

— Memorandum of Cooperation between Magtymguly Turkmen State University (Turkmenistan) and Beijing University of Foreign Languages (People's Republic of China).
