Trading on SCRMET: LNG and cotton yarn were sold for export
On Wednesday, January 4, 6 deals totaling $3.7 million and 11.9 million Turkmen manats were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
Businessmen from Afghanistan purchased a total of 5 thousand tons of liquefied gas, offering $485 for each ton of it. The total amount of transactions amounted to $2.4 million.
An entrepreneur from Azerbaijan purchased more than 506.8 thousand kg of cotton yarn for a total of $1.3 million. The representative of the UAE purchased more than 272.9 thousand kg of cotton yarn for 11.9 million TMT during the auction.
