Artists were banned from singing under the soundtrack in Kyrgyzstan


"Since January 1, 2023, artists of Kyrgyzstan are prohibited from using a phonogram," a representative of the press service of the Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan said, according to the country's journalists.
The corresponding order was signed by the Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the republic Altynbek Maksutov.
The rule applies to performances in state cultural and educational institutions - theaters, philharmonic halls, cinemas, clubs, museums, libraries. Also, artists will have to sing live during all mass cultural events.
Responsibility for the execution of the order is assigned to the management of each individual institution. The Minister will personally monitor compliance with the ban, a representative of the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan said in a statement.
