Five-time Golden Ball winner Cristiano Ronaldo has the opportunity to play in the Champions League for Newcastle United once again in his career under the terms of an agreement with Saudi Al-Nasr, Morca reports.
Last week, the famous footballer signed a contract with a Saudi football club, having not found a European club capable of satisfying the working conditions of the Portuguese scorer.
However, despite this, Ronaldo is determined to take part in the main European tournament. Thanks to a special clause in the agreement with Al-Nasr, Cristiano has the right to participate in the tournament for Newcastle United if it enters the Champions League this season.
Since Newcastle is owned by the Sovereign Fund of Saudi Arabia, Cristiano can go there on loan. The contract itself is valid until the summer of 2025.
