New Year's gifts on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Head of the upper chamber of the Turkmen Parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov were presented to the pupils of the Ashgabat Palace of orphans during the New Year celebration at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

Festive events for children are held in Ashgabat from January 1. Their first guests were also the winners of various children's competitions, excellent students and children from low-income families.

Until January 10, New Year's performances for the younger generation will also be held on the main tree of Ashgabat — on the square in front of the cultural and entertainment center "Alem" (Cosmos).
