The head of the Ministry of Finance of Russia Anton Siluanov announced the possibility of switching to mutual payments in cryptocurrency with trading partners from other countries, the TASS news agency reports.

"We do not make transactions in dollars and euros. Cryptocurrency, at least with those countries that are ready to have trade relations with us, is a possible source of payments — why not?" he said, adding that this process should be comfortable for all parties.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation said that the department considers it necessary to develop the cryptocurrency market in Russia and bring it into the legal field. At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Finance insists on legal regulation of the cryptocurrency market.
