Almost 100 Turkmen schoolchildren became winners of the national Olympiad in biology and chemistry


Turkmen schoolchildren became winners of the II Open Internet Olympiad in biology and chemistry among students of specialized schools in the country, the results of which were summed up on December 28. Prize-winners in biology - 50 best students of grades 10-11, in chemistry - 49 clever boys and clever girls from different schools became medalists.

This year the competition was held at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S. A. Niyazov. This university became not only the venue, but also the organizer of the intellectual competition - the faculty of the university developed test tasks, and also, as a jury, conducted a cross-section of knowledge among Turkmen schoolchildren.

In total, more than 300 talented high school students took part in the Olympiad. Students from metropolitan schools took a competitive test at the Agricultural University, and students from the regions participated in the competition online.

As the organizers of the competition noted, the current winners showed high results and excellent knowledge in biology and chemistry and can adequately represent the country as part of the national team of Turkmenistan at international olympiads in these types of disciplines.
