Schoolchildren and students participating in the national team of Turkmenistan won silver medals in the team event at the international competitions in informatics and robotics in Baku. Young engineers took second place, outstripping worthy and talented rivals from dozens of countries: Great Britain, Israel, Turkey, Norway, Sweden, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan,- the Azerbaijani press writes.

The robots of Turkmen programmers were included in the list of the best at the international Baku competition. For example, the model of Maksat Kakadzhanov is a lifesaver in miniature, works through satellite communications and is able to find a person in trouble. But the training program of the student Shovket Shokhratov will help in choosing a future profession. The application works in two languages - Russian and Azerbaijani, and the author of the project installed the second language specifically for the competitions in Baku.

“Our application is a questionnaire. It should help a person in choosing his future profession. There are also questions on psychology and various teaching materials on programming,” Shovket Shohradov, a fourth-year student of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University said.

Turkmen programmers have already begun to prepare for the next tests - they will go to London, where a competition in robotics will be held next March.
