The export of Turkmen goods in 2022 increased by half


The head of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, summing up the development of the national economic complex of the country for 11 months of this year, confirmed the high growth of the national economy, despite the current economic situation on a global scale.
At a government meeting on Friday, the president, although he stated the "inadequate level of work" in some areas, said that in most sectors of the economy there was a steady increase in production, thanks to which indicators increased, including exports of goods - by 50% compared to the same period in 2021.
The same trends are confirmed by the macroeconomic indicators announced by Deputy Prime Minister Hodjamyrat Geldimyradov, according to which the GDP growth rate for the reporting period amounted to 6.2%, and production in the country increased by 11%.
The volume of foreign trade turnover, according to the report of the Deputy Prime Minister, increased by 35.7%, and retail – by 10.6%.
At the same time, capital investments in January-November increased (taking into account all sources of financing) by more than 14%.
